The Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville (HBAGK) 2022 Parade of Homes™ welcomes East Tennessee residents, visitors, and recent transplants to view new and modern home concepts from the region’s best builders. The three-weekend event is open to visitors Friday through Sunday from September 30 to 16 and showcases over 30 new homes across six counties.

The 2022 HBAGK Parade of Homes™ is co-sponsored and presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union and Tindell’s Building Materials.

This is the 41^st year for the HBAGK Parade of Homes™ and it is one of the longest-running Parade of Homes™ in the nation. Each year, HBAGK and its members contribute tens of millions of dollars to the local East Tennessee economy through the annual Parade of Homes™ event.

Attendees will find homes ranging from $299,900 to just under $3 million in the 2022 HBAGK Parade of Homes™, including our Foundation House II using a collaboration of (mostly) HBAGK members. Due to extremely high demand and low housing inventory we have done everything possible to provide as many viewing opportunities for Parade of Homes consumers, including previous model homes and “virtual” homes that will be unavailable during the Parade but with options to make appointments with the builder.

“The past few years have impacted the homebuilding industry tremendously. Building professionals have had to adjust their business models and timeframes in order to build new homes for their customers,” said Byron Wood, HBAGK Parade of Homes™ co-chair. “Some material shortages and supply chain delays have improved slightly while a few of these issues have gotten worse. The bottom line is that building a new home takes longer than before and we are still underbuilt for the number of new homes needed in our area.”
